I think many of you have already seen this, but, here it is. Last week, there was a fire in the apartment building next to us. It was a gas range fire, and took about an hour to finally put it out. It was pretty scary, how close it was to our window. We don't think anyone got hurt, and the good news it that the fire trucks showed up within two minutes of the fire starting!

Lemons
One of my students brought a lemon for Show and Tell. The kids thought I was little crazy when I cut it up, and told them to eat it. They each took a piece and started running around eating them and yelling. I haven't laughed so hard in a while. One boy was almost in tears yelling "Noooo Lemon".

Picnic in the Park
This Sunday we to Olympic Park and had a picnic. It was like 87 degrees, and a little windy, so it was perfect. We both got a little sun, read a little, and just relaxed!We are so happy the weather is finally getting nice.
TWO months until Malaysia vacation!
