Out to dinner.

MMM.... We went out to dinner tonight and had Chicken Galbi. It was Charbroiled chicken with veggies and rice noodles and a really spicy delicious sauce cooked right at the table.

Action Shots

.... This is what happens when I let my kids dance it out and hide behind the camera as they come close to injuring themselves several times.

Badminton

Today I joined a badminton club. It was awesome. I traveled alone for the first time across the city and played badminton with some older teachers and students at an International school. It was very competitive and a lot of fun. I was able to keep up which was a plus. I am really looking forward to playing again. ~T

My First Day Teaching

Today was my first day in charge of my classroom! It was excellent. I really enjoyed finally being in control of the room. It was a blast. It was much easier than I thought it would be. At the end of the day one of my students said " Terrence Teacher you are a very happy teacher!" It made my day!~T

Korea Temple Museum

Terrence and I went to the Korea Palace Museum, and walked past the "Changing of the Guards" Ceremony. They were right next to us in full dress which was pretty awesome. We are planning on going back next weekend for the full tour!

Terrence and I at the King Sejong statue at the Gwanghwamun Plaza. It was built recently, and stands in the middle of this large plaza area.

SEOUL Snow Jam!

Today we went to the SnowJam in Seoul. It was a winter festival based around a snowboarding competition with snowboarders from all over the world apparently. It was a really nice day and pretty awesome to watch the boarders do their flips off the jumps.

Insadong

Here is another photo from our shopping trip! I was able to get all of my X-mas shopping done! Check out the Korean Pottery in the background.

Insadong

Megan and I spent our Saturday afternoon shopping at Insadong. It is one of the many Korean shopping areas. On the weekends they shutdown one street in this area and its all tents and shopping carts. This is a picture of Meg and I eating a delicious Chicken kabob from a street vendor.

So we were playing freeze dance and my kiddies decided to use the chairs as props. These kids having me laughing all day long!

I couldn't stop laughing during this part.
Ryan and his Korean name board.

Waiting patiently for their turns

So today was Graduation Pictures Day. Pretty much the most ridiculous thing ever. The kids spent 2.5 hours taking all sorts of pictures. The ones I've shown here are just a sampling. The kids can then purchase a yearbook for $100 at the end of the year. And don't forget these kids are only 6 years old.
