My computer pretty much hates it life. I am at a PC Cafe that is right down the steet. I tried using a burned copy of Windows XP, and that did not seem to work at all. I am going to play around this weekend. I can't get anything but a black screen that says the system file is corrupt or missing. BLAHHHHHH

AHHHH....

My computer decided to crash last night and I am getting a crazy error message when I start my computer. I am currently using my work computer during lunch, hopefully the problem will be fixed soon. Until then, no pictures, no internet, no Skype :(.....WISH ME LUCK!

So, today was Pepero Day in Korea. This is a day dedicated to cookie/cracker sticks covered in chocolate. Some are flavored and some are filled inside. They are actually quite tasty. Many children brought them to school as gifts for teachers:)

A must see.....

The kids get play time for 20 minutes each day. I could not resist video taping the boys during their imaginary bus ride. I think my favorite part is when Ryan decides to get out his "video camera", and interview the bus riders :)

* P.S... Mary, I know you were disappointed by my lack of posting the last few days. I hope you enjoy my many postings from today :)

Art Class on Tuesdays....

Hard at work.....

"The Money Train"

The Money Train :)

Can't sleep, so I decided I would post on here! I found out today one of my kids with swine flu is not coming back to LCI. He is still in the hospital and his mom is afraid he will be made fun of when he comes back. So now I am down to 8. It is so nice have such a small class size. If only things could be like that everywhere.....haha, I know.... it will never happen (wishful thinking).
I am enjoying my class more and more everyday. They have gotten very respectful, and really seem to enjoy learning in my classroom. I started a new reward system today called the "J-Room Money Train". It is a train that the children must fill with "J-Room Dollars". Once the train is full with $30.00, they get a party or a treat. The individual reward system the school has in place seems to work, but I think instilling a group effort with my class will do some good. I will post pictures of the chart I made (it's pretty adorable) and I'll keep you posted on how it is working:)

P.S I think I am going to Japan this weekend to get my Visa....finally....YAY!!!
